Ambit is a site specific video installation, located in an old abandoned building. The meaning of Ambit is an external boundary; a circuit, an area in which something acts or operates or has power or control. Ambit is located in dark, cold, and dirty basement of the old house. Four TVs are stacked on top of each other in the corner behind stairs. The visitors have to walk down into this dusty environment in order to see this piece of art. In the video, the female figure is standing on the left side of the TV screens. She is spitting milk into her hands, which is then over flowing and falling onto a dirty floor. This action is never ending. After the milk stops dripping and creates a white puddle of liquidin on the dusty ground, it reverses and goes back into her mouth. It creates tension and makes the viewers question weather she is drinking the milk or she is spitting it. The act of nourishment and waste go hand in hand.
