At the dawn of computer technology technicians used Hollerith cards to communicate with their computers. The computer would read these cards, which had a specific pattern of wholes punched in them, allowing information to be stored within the computer. For this piece two Hollerith cards have been punched with Jim’s motto for life: "My philosophy has always been, you have to play the cards the way they are dealt, you can't change them. So where ever they are dealt, play it! Take advantage of it."
